The City of Norton is proud to offer eleven scenic public parks where residents and visitors can relax, play, and connect with nature.
Nine of these parks are owned and beautifully maintained by the City, each offering its own unique charm and amenities: Columbia Woods Park, Frashure Park, Helmick Park, Holiday Heights Park, Oak Leaf Park, Loyal Oak Community Park, Williams Memorial Park, Williams Peace Park, and Veterans Memorial Park.
McCafferty Park is a City of Barberton park, located within Norton borders. Silver Creek Metro Park, a Summit County Metropolitan park, is also located within the City. Lake Dorothy is a private park, but families are known to visit the Loyal Oak Lake Park for other summertime fun.
Organized youth sports— baseball, basketball, football / cheerleading, and soccer —are thriving in the city.
